Ever Since the industrial and commercial revolution in the country, need for economical and affordable constructions has become a priority. One of the revolutionary concepts for catering this demand is Pre Engineered Buildings.

Pre Engineered Steel Buildings (PEB) revolutionized the construction market using built ups in place of conventional hot rolled sections. Pre Engineered buildings is a steel structure built over a structural concept of primary members, secondary members and cover sheeting connected to each other. The structural members are custom designed to be lighter in weight as well as high in strength. Pre Engineered Steel buildings can be fitted with different structural additions like trusses, mezzanine floors, fascias, canopies and crane systems as per user requirements.

Technical Properties


Some of the most common primary framing systems are shown below, asymmetrical framing system and multi-span framing system with unequal width module are also possible, but may require more engineering time and possibly longer deliveries.



Primary members consist of columns, rafters, beams, etc. These are fabricated from high strength HR Plates. Plates are cut to size using Hi-Tech CNC, Plasma and Oxy Cutting machines, which are installed in our factories. Built-up sections are made from these plates in automatic beam welding line by submerged Arc welding (SAW).



Secondary Members used in PEB include purlins, side runners, eave struts, fascia channels, door, window, rafters stays, bracings, etc.

Purlines and girts are cold rolled formed light gage Z sections varying in depth from 180 to 300 mm and in thickness from 1.5 mm to 2.5 mm as per design requirements.

All primary connection fasteners will be with high strength bolts conforming to the physical specification to the ASTM A325 or equivalent.

The fasteners for the cladding/roofing includes GI self-tapping screws/ GI Self drilling screws in varying sizes to suit the roofing/cladding requirements. These accompanied with neoprene or EPDM washers to obtain long services and maximum weather resistance.


Roofing & Caladding

Modern Roofing and Wall Cladding Systems are specifically designed to cater to all kinds of industrial and commercial roofing and cladding needs. The high performance and quality offered by these systems ensure extra strength, better overlap, weather tightness, corrosion resistance, low maintenance cost, and good aesthetics.

Modern roofing and cladding systems can be fixed over the purlins or runners using self-drilling fasteners, ‘J’ hooks, etc. including neoprene / EPDM / Bitumen washers on the sheet.

These sheets are produced on state of the art fully automated machines and match all international standards and specifications.

Technical Parameters of Base Material


Galvalume steel is a zinc-aluminum coated steel offering high corrosion resistance. This alloy coating com comprises of 55% aluminum 43% zinc and 1.5% silicon. This Coating offers superior barrio protection against varied atmospheric conditions. The coating class is AZ-150 as per AS: 1397, which means 150gms/m2 minimum coating mass total of both sides.

Galvalume sheets are available in tensile strengths of 300, 345 & 550 MPa

Galvanized steel comprises of galvanized zinc coating over mild steel of minimum coating mass 120 gms / m2
as per IS 277 in tensile strength of min. 240 MPa.

Color coating oven baked painted system of following types are available.

1) Galvalume Steel: Super Polyester XRW, Silicon modified polyester or fluoropolymer 20 microns ( exposed side ) & neutral alkyd back coat of 5 microns over a primer coat of 5 microns on both side.

2) Galvanized Steel: Polyester top coat of 20 microns over a primer of 5 microns ( exposed side ) & alkyd back coat of 5 microns over a primer coat of 5 microns.
